Metal silicon, also known as industrial silicon or crystalline silicon, has a dark gray luster, a high melting point, good heat resistance, high electrical resistivity, and high anti-oxidation. The general particle size is 10 to 100 MM or 2 to 25 MM.
Use:
Metal silicon is produced in the thermal furnace by carbonaceous reducing agent and silica silicon. It is mainly used to prepare alloys, especially aluminum alloys, to prepare polysilicon, silicone and high-grade refractory materials.
