6063 aluminum alloy material. The main alloy elements are magnesium and silicon, with excellent processing properties, excellent weldability, extrusion and electroplating, good corrosion resistance, toughness, easy to polish and color film, excellent anodizing effect, is a typical extrusion alloy. With its good plasticity, moderate heat treatment intensity, good welding performance and anodized treatment, the 6063 aluminum alloy profile is widely used in building profiles, irrigation pipes, tubes, rods and profiles for vehicles, platforms, furniture, lifts, fences, etc.6063 is a low-alloyed al-mg-si alloy with high plasticity. It has many valuable features: 1. Heat treatment intensification, high impact toughness, insensitive to notch. 2. Excellent welding performance and corrosion resistance, no stress corrosion cracking tendency, among the heat-treatable aluminum alloy, al-mg-si alloy is the only alloy without stress corrosion cracking phenomenon. 3. After processing, the surface is very bright and clean, and easy to anodize and stain. The disadvantage is that after quenching, if left at room temperature for a period of time, the aging will have an adverse effect on the strength (parking effect).
Typical application
